FRC Hangs its Shingle Next to That of its New Parent

Financial Research Corporation has a new home, but its not moving far. The MFWire has learned that the Boston-based mutual fund research firm will move less than a mile next week, from the 15th floor of 100 Summer Street to the third floor of One Faneuil Hall. The new location lands FRC right next door to its new parent company, Mercatus, at 2 Faneuil Hall.

An official with FRC could not immediately be reached for comment on the move.

Back when Mercatus purchased FRC from Citigroup in November, then-FRC relationship management chief Deborah Wetherbee told The MFWire that the two companies would retain their separate headquarters in the short term, until eventually combining their offices into one, larger location (see MFWire, 11/21/2008).
