On Thursday the two regulators held an all-day, nine-panel hearing on the successes and failures of the popular, age-based asset allocation funds (see our sister publication for complete coverage: The 401kWire, 6/18/2009). The WSJ focuses on the losses suffered by 2010 funds and highlights the controversy about equity allocations and perceived guarantees in funds with target dates of 2010 and earlier.
