Friday, July 24, 2009 BlackRock Brings in an Ex-RiverSource Wholesaler Dev Shah joined BlackRock this month as vice president in the account management group, The MFWire has learned. Shah's exact duties within the group could not immediately be confirmed. Shah could not immediately be reached for comment. BlackRock spokeswoman Melissa Garville declined to comment on personnel matters. Shah previously spent two years as a wholesaler for RiverSource Investments. His territory included Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee, and he later took on Maryland and Washington, D.C. Shah left RiverSource in May. A RiverSource spokesman declined to comment on Shah's replacement. Prior to RiverSource, Shah worked at Rydex Investments.
