The Sale of an AIG Unit Comes Into View
AIG's asset management business may finally sell soon. Reuters' Paritosh Bansal reports that Crestview Partners and a group of others may soon buy the AIG unit, which boasts $63.5 billion in AUM, for between $300 million and $400 million. (That's a price of between 0.47 percent and 0.63 percent of assets.)
Franklin Resources reportedly left the bidding last month.
