Fidelity's Cieszko is on the Hunt to fill a Distribution Post

Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company (FIIS) is currently searching for a new distribution chief. Fidelity spokesman Steve Austin told The MFWire that the Boston firm is searching for a replacement for Craig Huntley, who left the firm earlier this year. Huntley's role is currently being handled by Peter Cieszko, the president of FIIS who joined Fidelity from Evergreen in January.

The MFWire reported in April that several executives left FIIS, including the head of sales and the head of product. Asked at the time about those changes, a Fidelity spokesperson declined to comment on any specific changes but said that Cieszko was "making some changes to better align our products and services to meet the evolving needs of our clients as well as support our future growth."

FIIS is responsible for the distribution of Fidelity advisor funds, money-market funds, cash management funds, long term investment, college savings and retirement plans through banks, insurance companies, brokers and financial planners. To find out about changes happening on the 401(k) side of FIIS, see our sister publication, The 401kWire.
