Seven Fundsters Land on Forbes' 400 Richest List


Abby Johnson is the 17th wealthiest person in America according to Forbes magazine, which recently released its list of the 400 richest Americans.

Johnson has a net worth of $11.5 billion, down $3.5 billion from last year. She is also 13 spots above her father Ned, whose net worth amounts to $8 billion.

Also on the list are Franklin Resources chairman Charles Johnson, who came in at No. 65 with $4 billion, and the firm's vice chair Rupert Johnson Jr., who placed 80th with $3.7 billion. Pimco CIO and co-founder Bill Gross ranked 158th, with $2 billion. Michael Price, who sold Heine Securities to Franklin in 1996, was at No. 277 with $1.4 billion, and Baron Capital's Ron Baron was at No. 296 with $1.3 billion.
