Friday, October 16, 2009 Columbia's Q3 Net Loss Shrinks Columbia Management, whose long-term asset management business is in the process of being acquired by Ameriprise Financial from Bank of America, posted a net loss of $48 million in the third quarter, compared with a net loss of $356 million a year ago.
