Monday, October 26, 2009 Federated's Future May Hold More Deals Is J. Christopher Donahue still in an acquisitive mood? In the Monday Wall Street Journal "Fund Track" column, Daisy Maxey reports that the Federated Investors president and CEO is considering doing more deals, both outside the U.S. and in the money market business. Such deals, Donahue reportedly said, could be aimed at adding more scale or combining with organic international growth, but they would not be aimed at expanding into specific new investment styles. On Thursday, Federated reported its third-quarter earnings (see MFWire, 10/22/2009). Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=23035 Copyright 2009, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
