Advisors Pick the Best Asset Manager Web Sites


Kasina and Horsesmouth asked advisors which asset manager Web sites are the best as part of a broader survey called What Advisors Do Online.

Respondents were asked to choose the three best asset manager public sites and the top 10 responses were American Funds (18 percent), Pimco/Allianz (6 percent), Franklin Templeton (5 percent), BlackRock (5 percent), Fidelity (5 percent), OppenheimerFunds (5 percent) iShares (3 percent), MFS (3 percent), Lord Abbett (3 percent) and Hartford (2 percent).

Advisors were also asked which three asset manager advisor sites were the best. The top 10 were American Funds (17 percent), Pimco/Allianz (8 percent), Vanguard (6 percent), Fidelity (6 percent), Franklin Templeton (5 percent), BlackRock (3 percent), iShares (3 percent), Oppenheimer (3 percent), MFS (2 percent) and Hartford (2 percent).

Kasina and Horsesmouth polled 548 advisors.
