kasina Brings a Mutual Fund E-Business Guru on Board

kasina continues its senior-level hiring spree with the appointment of Julia Binder as a research analyst, beginning November 9. Binder, who was previously the head of e-commerce at Calvert Investments, is one of several executives to recently join kasina, following Deb Wetherbee as senior vice president of sales and Marketing and Bryan Kozlowski as Senior Consultant at kasina.

“Julia's history in successful asset management e-business initiatives will bring greater perspective and insight to kasina's comprehensive research agenda,” stated Steven Miyao, kasina's CEO.

With twenty-five years of experience in the e-business and mutual fund industries under her belt, Ms. Binder's resume counts IBM, Congressional Quarterly, and Lexis-Nexis among recipients of her work. As head of e-commerce at Calvert, her duties included leading online initiatives and developing Calvert's award-winning website for nine years.

The appointment comes at a crucial time for many businesses in the mutual fund industry who are trying to keep up with the explosion in online business and e-business opportunities.
