Money Assets Drop $22 billion

The flow of assets out of money funds continued during the past seven days. The information bodes well for the continued turnaround in equity fund sales.

Money fund assets fell $21.94 billion in the week ending April 17, reports the Investment Company Institute. The trade group found that assets in retail funds fell $9.49 billion and those in institutional funds declined by $12.45 billion.
