"In his new position, Cris will emphasize operational excellence and our straight-through-processing and e-commerce solutions. We expect to leverage Cris' experience with his new responsibilities to continue SunGard's record of consistent and superior growth," stated James L. Mann, chairman and chief executive officer.

The second of the appointments moves David Robinson to senior vice president of the parent company. His most recent posting was as group chief executive officer of SunGard Investment & Shareholder Systems.

Finally, Till Guldimann has been named senior vice president of strategy at the parent company. He had served as vice chairman of Infinity, which is a subsidiary of SunGard.

According to the spokesperson, Conde will report to Mann, while Guldimann and Robinson will report to Conde.

"These executives came to SunGard through acquisition," the spokesperson concluded. "In most acquired companies, management is usually the first to leave. They've stayed with SunGard and have thrived here."
