Mainstay Hires CFO


Mainstay Capital Management, the investment advisor for New York Life's MainStay Funds, has hired John Flanagan as chief financial officer. He replaces Anthony Polis who is no longer with Mainstay.

  • Until late last year, Flanagan worked at Milwaukee-based Strong Capital Management where he held the title of senior vice president and treasurer. His position there was distributed among others at the company, the spokesperson said.

    In his newly created position, Flanagan, 53, will be reporting directly to Stephen Roussin, president and chief executive officer of MainStay.
