BISYS Introduces New Fund Inquiry and Trading System

BISYS Fund Services, has introduced WebSolutions, a web-based mutual fund account inquiry and trading system designed to enable brokers and individual shareholders to view and act on mutual fund accounts.

The new system allows investors to place buy and sell orders, exchange mutual fund shares, and view pending and canceled orders that were placed using the system. The system also provides 24 x 7 access to pertinent information, such as current values and account histories.

BISYS' WebSolutions has the ability to link the system to most shareholder recordkeeping systems and to more than one system simultaneously. Traditional web-based access systems only provide the ability to view accounts residing on a single back-office system.

"BISYS' clients use a wide variety of clearing, transfer agency, trust, and brokerage systems to house investor accounts," said Dave Huber, president of BISYS Fund Services. "When individual investors have accounts on more than one back-office system, Internet access must be flexible enough to web-enable those accounts and WebSolutions accomplishes that. This innovative system enables the customers of our financial services clients to view all of their investment data in one place."
