Tuesday, June 15, 1999 Nicholas-Applegate Hires Global Marketing Head Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management announced today that Eric S. Sagerman will join the firm in July as a partner, head of global marketing, and member of the executive committee. Sagerman will be responsibe for marketing strategy, communications, market analysis and product design and development. He joins Jill Jordon, head of client service and global sales; John McDonnell, chief operating officer; Catherine Somhegyi, global chief investment officer; and Art Nicholas, founder and managing partner on the executive committee. Sagerman leaves the post of senior vice president, head of product strategy and development, at the American Express Company's Travel Related Services, International division, based in London.
