Kochen, 40, will continue as portfolio strategist for the Aeltus principal protection products and will assume the additional responsibility of lead manager of the Aetna Generation Funds, a family of asset allocation funds.

Kevin Means formerly held this title but is leaving at the end of the month to start his own hedge fund, a spokesperson for Aeltus told the MFWire.com.

John Kim, president of Aeltus, will be Kochen's direct supervisor. "During his career he has proven to be an excellent manager of both people and assets, and we are pleased that he is leading our fine equity team," Kim said.
