Prior to his current appointment, Charpentier served as a manager in the control department of AFS. In his new role as vice president, Charpentier will coordinate the internal technology needs for AFS as well as oversee the management of the department's external service providers.

"The responsibility of planning, developing and managing the role of systems and technology and their value to AFS is critical to our success," said Tony Green, senior operations officer of AFS.
