Monday, January 24, 2000 Personnel Moves At Fortis and Turner St. Paul-based Fortis Financial Group has announced that Gene Muenchau is the new vice president for variable annuities and mutual funds. In unrelated news, Berwyn, Pa.-based Turner Investment Partners announced that six employees have been named principals and received equity in the company. Muenchau, 50, spent the last 13 years as regional vice president for retail sales. He will be responsible for differentiating and promoting Fortis variable annuities and mutual funds, and will be reporting to Roger Arnold, senior vice president for sales.
This announcement is part of an ongoing Turner policy to distribute equity throughout its work force -- 28 of the 50 employees at Turner now are principals who are entitled to equity-like participation in the firm. Turner believes that this is an effective means of rewarding and retaining its staff. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=25465 Copyright 2000, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
