JB Funds Gets Web Site

Jones & Babson has created a new Web site (www.jbfunds.com) to support the launch of three new J&B Funds. The firm opened the sub-advised family last December based on feedback from consumer focus groups.

The site is one of four run by the Kansas City-based fund firm and was designed by Kuhn & Associates and developed by SySys, (Conifer, Colorado). The firm maintains sites for each of its brands -- BabsonFunds.com, BuffaloFunds.com and JBAdvisor.com -- but currently has no corporate site.

Like other sites, the new offering features fund descriptions, performance, top holdings and manager biographies. It also offers hypothetical investment calculators and IRA information. Unlike the other Jones & Babson sites the performance data is only being update quarterly rather than monthly. The firm will look at changing the info to monthly at the end of the year.

"We know that shareholders and potential shareholders want convenience in an ever-changing world when making investment decisions," said Steve Soden, president and ceo, Jones & Babson. "We look forward to maintaining a reliable and accessible medium to meet the demands of the future with this new web site."

Changes will be made to the site on as needed basis, said Tammy Cave of Jones & Babson.
