Friday, November 30, 2001 FRC Hires New BizDev Head Darby Hobbs, founder and president of Boston-based Graylyn Associates is joining Financial Research Corporation as senior vice president of business development. Hobbs comes as a package deal along with the assets of Graylyn. The firm started with a news digest, Ink Spot News, which was a continuation of a task she had performed with First Data, her prior employer. Graylyn grew to include conferences and The Society of Strategic Planners and Marketing Professionals. FRC will assimilate all these assets of Graylyn. Also joining FRC is Lisa Campbell, editor of Graylyn's publications. She will take the role of a senior research analyst at the firm and will oversee the transition of existing Graylyn services into the FRC organization.
