Web Platforms from R.R. Donnelly

R.R. Donnelley Financial is offering its clients three new web-based platforms. These new offerings are: FactNET, E.Source, WebTraK.

The new products offer the following services:

FactNET -- a tool by which mutual fund fact sheets can be created online.
E.Source -- an online document delivery service that acts as a customer consent database for compliance purposes.
WebTraK -- an inventory management and targeted communications system that covers the entire distribution system.

In particular, FactNET can be used by clients to create, manage, review, input, edit, and approve the content of mutual fund fact sheets. The firm contends that one of its financial services clients was able to print and deliver fact sheets of approximately 70 mutual funds in a 20-day cycle using this service; previously, the firm previously had a 90-day cycle for the same process. The firm also contends that the client had a 75% reduction in resources used for the purposes updating and rectifying fact sheet content.
