Tuesday, March 5, 2002 Frank Russell Teams with Delaware Frank Russell has tapped Delaware Investments to manage three of its fixed income funds. Russell will manage the Frank Rusell Trust Company (FRTC) Fixed Income I, the Frank Russell Investment Company (FRIC) Fixed Income III, and the FRIC Multistrategy Bond fund. Delaware is one of four managers in the FRTC fund, and one of three in the other two funds. The FRTC fund is open to institutional investors while the other two funds are open to individual investors. "We've followed Delaware's core fixed income team over the years and believe they have the ability to add value to these funds," stated Jeff Hussey, portfolio manager at Russell. "The team's flat organizational structure allows for nimble decision making, which will be particularly beneficial in an increasingly hostile marketplace given the amount of rating agency downgrades and defaults in the corporate market."
