Wednesday, June 19, 2002 Pru Man at Securian Securian Financial Network has named Tom Burns to the post of senior vice president, a spokesperson with the firm told the MutualFundWire.com. Securian is the distribution arm of Minnesota Life Insurance. He replaces Terry Sullivan, who retired after 38 years with the firm. He reports to Randy Wallake, who is the executive vice president. Wallake oversees the 401(k) business as well. "Burns' focus will be on expanding our distribution network and building agencies," the spokesperson reported. Before making this move, he managed the nationwide general agency and individual channels for Prudential Select brokerage.
