Tuesday, June 25, 2002 Fido Formula One Fidelity Investments has tapped Managed Objects for its Formula software for its United Kingdom operations. The Boston firm already utilizes the platform for its US operations. Formula will support online services in Europe including mutual fund sales. "One of Formula's most notable capabilities is its ability to tailor information to different users' needs," stated Andrew Hookway, head of systems operations at Fido. "For instance, we have Formula up on a large plasma screen in our data centers, so everyone can see the status of key services. Meanwhile, our operations team have their own views, which enable them to prioritize problems according to their business impact, as well as to repair the actual problem."
