Fred Alger Partners Up

Fred Alger Management has unveiled the Alger Partners Plan, an equity program for senior executives and investment professionals. There are four inaugural members of the plan: Dan Chung, president, CEO and CIO; Jill Greenwald, executive vice president and portfolio manager; Patrick Kelly, executive vice president and portfolio manager; and Hal Liebes, executive vice president and chief operating officer.

The number of program participants may increase down the road, company officials said in a news release Thursday afternoon. Participation in the program will be reviewed each year.

The Partners Plan complements Alger's Long-Term Compensation program for key employees, which was introduced four years ago. At present, more than 70 percent of the company's senior executives and investment professionals take part in that program.
