Tuesday, May 4, 2010 Vanguard Turns 35 Vanguard celebrated its 35th birthday last week. To mark the firm's May 1 founding, crew members ditched their suits in favor of company T-shirts on Friday, according to a Vanguard spokesperson. All crew members also received a commemorative poster with everybody's last names and their year of hire. Yes, that's 13,000 names.
