PM Changes at Morgan Stanley, ING and Columbia

Portfolio Manager Changes
Morgan Stanley is prepping for the upcoming departure of Francine J. Bovich from its portfolio management team on September 15. Bovich is PM for the Balanced Portfolio of Morgan Stanley Institutional Fund Trust and the Morgan Stanley Global Strategist Fund [see SEC Filings here and here].

A hint as to how Morgan Stanley will replace Bovich may be had in how another fund is handling the change. Bovich is also the portfolio manager for Universal Institutional Funds International Magnum Portfolio. Universal told shareholders that Morgan Stanley's Global Macro and Asset Allocation team led by Henry McVey will take over portfolio management of the fund from Bovich on September 15 [SEC filing].

Matthew Seinsheimer joined the portfolio management team for ING Van Kampen Comstock Portfolio on June 25. The fund also announced that Kevin Holt is now lead portfolio manager for the fund [SEC filing].

Cheryl D’Hollander is no longer the PM for three Columbia index funds (Large Cap Index, Mid Cap Index and Small Cap Index). Starting July 23 Alfred F. Alley III will take over as the sole portfolio manager for each of the funds [SEC filing].
