Van Eck Rolls Out a China ETF

Van Eck Global [see profile] on Thursday took the wraps off the Market Vectors China ETF (PEK). The fund comes with a net expense ratio of 72 basis points and offers access to China's A-shares market, which represents stocks traded on China's two main exchanges in Shanghai and Shenzhen. [SEC filing]

Van Eck executives, led by principal Jan van Eck, will host a media event at the company's Madison Avenue headquarters in New York City tomorrow morning to mark the product launch.
