Reynolds seeks to drum up support for an aggressive program to spur private sector investment and job growth in the near term and tax and investment reforms to put the country on a solid fiscal foundation for the long term.

In a speech, entitled "The New Solvency: Rebooting America’s Future," Reynolds will call for immediate actions to spur research and development, capital investment and hiring by private businesses including a new tax credit for companies which hire American workers.

He also will lay out a plan for long-term reform of public and private retirement systems and changes to our tax codes and regulatory policies to increase the national savings rate, reward investment, encourage new business formation and raise America's economic growth rate.

The Boston Herald also picked up on Reynold's agenda.
