Monday, May 2, 2011 Federated Changes Up its PMs Federated Investors [see profile] is changing up its portfolio management team after one of its members left the firm. Specficially, James Grefenstette, a vice president and senior portfolio manager, was named head of the firm’s core/growth equity management team, replacing Carol Miller, also a senior portfolio manager, who left the firm, P&I reports. Spokeswoman Meghan McAndrew told the pub that Grefenstette will retain his current titles and continue to manage the $366 million Federated Mid Cap Growth Strategies Fund, but she declined to provide further details.
