Friday, June 3, 2011 Virtus Forms a New Fleet Virtus Investment Parters appointed David Albrycht as chief investment officer, multi-sector fixed income strategies for its newly formed affiliate, Newfleet Asset Management. Virtus also tapped other investment professionals that have assisted Albrycht in running $5.2 billion of Virtus' fixed income assets. The group includes PMs and research staff who have been responsible for the Virtus Multi-Sector Short Term Bond Fund, Multi-Sector Fixed Income Fund, Senior Floating Rate Fund, and other Virtus assets. Previously, Albrycht served as an executive managing director and senior PM at Goodwin Capital Advisers, a former Virtus subsidiary.
