Pioneer Nabs a SSgA Sales Exec


Pioneer Investments has added Craig DeGiacomo as vice president of institutional sales and consultant relations. He reports to Bill Porter, senior vice president and head of U.S. institutional.

"Pioneer is receiving growing interest from institutional investors and consultants in both our fixed income and equity offerings, and Craig will play a pivotal role in helping increase our presence throughout the U.S. institutional market,” stated Porter.

Prior to joining Pioneer Investments, DeGiacomo spent fifteen years at State Street Global Advisors where most recently he served as vice president, head of new business development for public funds and Taft Hartley.


Pioneer Investments Expands U.S. Institutional Team

Boston, Massachusetts—Pioneer Investments today announced the addition of a new member to its U.S. institutional team. Craig A. DeGiacomo has been named Vice President of Institutional Sales and Consultant Relations.

“Craig’s addition to our institutional team supports the on-going commitment that Pioneer has to growing its institutional business in the U.S., said Bill Porter, Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Institutional. “He brings valuable experience to the role, having served as a senior investment strategist, senior relationship manager and new business development manager during his 15 years in the institutional business. Prior to joining Pioneer Investments, DeGiacomo spent fifteen years at State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) where most recently he served as Vice President, Head of New Business Development for Public Funds and Taft Hartley. He joined SSgA in 1996 and during his tenure there also served as a Senior Relationship Manager for a number of the firm’s public fund clients as well as a Senior Product Engineer for their Active International and Emerging Markets equity strategies. He graduated from Providence College with a B.S. in Business Management and earned an M.B.A. from Boston College.
