Frost Rolls Out a Natural Resources Fund

In January, Frost Investment Advisors president Tom Stringfellow told The MFWire that the San Antonio, Texas-based firm was thinking of launching an absolute return fund. This week, the fund was born.

Expense ratios for the Frost Natural Resources Fund are 242 basis points for A shares and 217 for Institutional shares. [prospectus]

"Given our location in Texas, our proximity to a broad and deep range of natural resources, and our significant in-house experience in the natural resources space, we believe we are well qualified to provide value to investors through the Frost Natural Resources Fund," Stringfellow said in a press release on Tuesday.

Frost, which entered the mutual fund business in 2008, has 25 funds in its lineup.
