Thursday, December 1, 2011 Forward Preps a Futures Fund Forward Management [see profile] has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to launch the Managed Futures Strategy Fund to bet on futures contracts included in the Credit Suisse Multi-Asset Futures Strategy Index, The mutualfundobserver.com reports. Forward's CEO Alan Reid told the MFWire that the firm is launching the fund early next quarter. The lead PMs for the fund include Nathan Rowader, Forward’s Director of Investments, Forward’s president and CIO, Jim O’Donnell, Paul Herber and David Ruff. Expenses were not disclosed in the filing.
