Monday, February 6, 2012 SSgA Trims Sector ETF Fees State Street Global Advisors has lowered its fees on all its Select Sector SPDRs ETFs from 20 basis points to 18 bps, reports Ronald Delegge of AdvisorOne. "The economy notwithstanding, 2011 was a banner year for us, both in terms of the increase in our average assets and the growth in our overall year-end assets," said SPDR Trust Wealth Management Strategies director Dan Dolan, in a press release. The average monthly assets in the Select Sector SPDRs reportedly increased by 32 percent and are currently around $44 billion. ETF Trends also covered SSgA's news.
