Thursday, May 10, 2012 Persaud Leads Fido to Global Equity Income Ned Johnson's team is launching its first two global equity income mutual funds. The Boston Herald and Reuters both report that Ramona Persaud will PM the new direct-sold Fidelity Global Equity Income Fund [profile] and the new Fidelity Advisor Global Equity Income Fund. "Global uncertainty is positive for this mandate," Persaud reportedly said. From 2008 through 2011, Persaud was a London-based assistant PM for the Fidelity Diversified International Fund. She joined the Boston Behemoth nine years ago as an analyst. The Boston-based, $1.6-trillion money manager already has 10 other equity income-oriented funds with a total AUM of more than $32 billion.
