Monday, May 21, 2012 iShares Execs File for a LatAm Bond Fund The iShares [ profile] team has sought permission from the SEC to offer a fixed-income ETF that will be focusing on Latin America, reports Morningstar. No ticker or expense ratio was included in the filing, but if the proposal goes through, the new fund will compete directly with Market Vectors Latin America Aggregate Bond ETF. The report states that the iShares Latin America Bond Fund is set to track a "Barclays index of dollar-denominated, corporate, sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt securities from issuers domiciled in Latin America."
