Aston Gains Dividends from River Road Ties

River Road Asset Management is prepping a new fund in the Aston mutual fund family. The Lousiville, Kentucky-based asset manager plans to release a second series of the ASTON/River Road Dividend All Cap Fund, as disclosed in documents filed with the SEC.

The PMs for the new mutual fund will be Henry W. Sanders III, Thomas Forsha, and James Shircliff. Sanders and Shircliff co-founded River Run in 2005.

Michele Robbins, River Road's vice president of client and consultant relations, told MFWire that the fund will be benchmarked to the Russel 3000 index and aim for 200-300 basis points of outperformance. The PMs will target companies that pay at least 2 percent dividend.
