The fee-based program -- BEST of AMERICA Advisory Services Program -- will offer both separately managed accounts from the insurer's Advisor Managed Money Series program and mutual funds from Advisor Mutual Fund Solutions and its no-load Advisor Variable Annuity program. The insurer will also offer advisors tools to assist with their proposal generation, asset allocation and fund selection, as well as program-management tools to assist advisors with account tracking, maintenance and research, according to the insurer. Nationwide Investment Services will began distribution of the new product in early 2003 using its BEST of AMERICA wholesaler network to target financial planning firms, banks, CPA firms and Nationwide Provident agents, said Richard A. Karas, president of NFS Distributors. "With Nationwide Financial's tradition of providing brand-name money managers and easy-to-use technology, this program is designed to help investment advisors serve this large and growing demand. We view this as a major area of growth for Nationwide Financial," added Karas. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=4186 Copyright 2002, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
