Vanguard Trims 11 ETFs' Expense Ratios


Vanguard [profile] took no holiday break from cutting its ETF fees.

Index Universe reports that the index-fund giant dropped the expense ratio of eleven ETFs -- four equity and seven bond funds -- on December 21. The cuts, ranging from one to two basis points, were disclosed in a regulatory filing.

The price reductions are as follows:
  • Vanguard Russell 100 Value ETF is reduced to 15 from 16 BPS
  • Vanguard Russell 2000 ETF to 21 from 22 BPS
  • Vanguard Russell 200 Value ETF to 32 from 33 BPS
  • Vanguard Russell 300 ETF to 15 from 16 BPS
  • Vanguard Short-Term Government Bond ETF to 12 from 14 BPS
  • Vanguard Intermediate-Term Government Bond ETF to 12 from 14 BPS
  • Vanguard Long-Term Government Bond ETF to 12 from 14 BPS
  • Vanguard Short-Term Corporate Bond ETF to 12 from 14 BPS
  • Vanguard Intermediate-Term Corporate Bond ETF to 12 from 14 BPS
  • Vanguard Long-Term Corporate Bond ETF to 12 from 14 BPS
