Pyxis Returns to the Highland

Just little over a year after spinning off from Highland Capital, Pyxis is returning to the old name for its funds, and itself.

According to a filing with the SEC, the firm is changing its name -- effective immediately-- to Highland Capital Management Fund Advisors.

The firm is also making the following fund name changes:
Pyxis Long/Short Equity Fund       to       Highland Long/Short Equity Fund
Pyxis Long/Short Healthcare Fund       to       Highland Long/Short Healthcare Fund
Pyxis Floating Rate Opportunities Fund       to       Highland Floating Rate Opportunities Fund
Pyxis/iBoxx Senior Loan ETF       to       Highland/iBoxx Senior Loan ETF
The firm originally spun off in December 2011 and rebranded its funds to Pyxis in January 2012.

Marketing and design company York & Chapel had helped the company at the time with its new brand.
