Tuesday, February 12, 2013 Pyxis Returns to the Highland Just little over a year after spinning off from Highland Capital, Pyxis is returning to the old name for its funds, and itself. According to a filing with the SEC, the firm is changing its name -- effective immediately-- to Highland Capital Management Fund Advisors. The firm is also making the following fund name changes: Pyxis Long/Short Equity Fund to Highland Long/Short Equity FundThe firm originally spun off in December 2011 and rebranded its funds to Pyxis in January 2012.
