ProShares Is Looking for Two Sales Honchoes

ProShares [profile] is looking for two senior executives to help the firm grow assets and market-share: a head of product management and a director of national sales.

According to the Linkedin posting, the head of product management would “build and lead a newly established product management function. This highly visible position will develop business strategies that grow assets and market share. The candidate will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams and lead a team responsible for positioning products, building campaigns, analyzing potential product changes, and representing ProShares as an advocate and product expert both internally and externally.”

Meanwhile, the Linkedin posting for the national sales director position says that the executive would be “responsible for managing and driving asset growth in the wire, B/D and RIA Channels. Align sales staff with company growth goals, create defined goals that ensure partner and customer satisfaction, and coordinate the efforts of the wholesaling team with legal, marketing, portfolio and all other internal ProShares/ProFunds departments. “

This exec will also “provide strategic leadership and guidance for the distribution efforts at ProFund Advisors LLC and ProShare Advisors LLC.”

Both positions are based in the Washington, D.C. area.
