Wednesday, June 5, 2013 Pimco's Top Two Diss Risk Equities Not one, but two Pimco [profile] honchos are telling investors to get far, far away from risk related assets. In two separate interviews, founder Bill Gross and CEO and co-CIO Mohamed El-Erian both warned against the assets. "Pull back from surfing this wave of central bank liquidity," El-Erian told CNBC. "Walk away from risk, don't sprint away." Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal quoted Gross from his monthly investment outlook column as saying that "never have investors received less for the risk they are taking."
