Tuesday, June 18, 2013 Wholesalers Are Sought For This Fund Firm Catalyst Capital Advisors is on a tear. The firm just hired George Amrhein to serve as the new head of business development. Amrhein's immediate goals include bolstering relationships amongst key clients and distributors and helping the firm, which currently has 13 funds, expand its product line more into atl territory. But he won't do it alone. In order to help him out, the firm is looking to hire an internal wholesaler and an external wholesaler. Depending on the situation, Catalyst may hire two internals, according to Catalyst founder and chief executive Jerry Szilagyi. "We are trying to significantly expand our distribution capabilities interns of our sales staff, as well as the number of platforms on which are funds are available, Szilagyi recently told MFWire.
