SEATTLE, July 1, 2013 -- Parametric, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp. "I'm excited to be part of the Parametric team that develops the systems and procedures that back the firm's continued growth," said Ms. Smith.  "I look forward to helping the firm to better serve its clients and grow our presence in the multiple client segments we serve."

Prior to joining Parametric, Ms. Smith was President and Chief Operating Officer at Bank of New York/Mellon's Transition Management Group, a division which focused on derivatives-based strategies to help institutions manage their asset class exposure during transitions, starting in 2001.  In 2008, she also took over leadership of BNY Mellon's Beta Group, which employs derivatives-based strategies to reduce cash drag and adjust asset class exposure.  She began at BNY Mellon as Director of Risk and Compliance in 1997.  Before joining that firm, she held various roles at Bear Stearns and Morgan Stanley.

Parametric, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., focuses on the delivery of engineered portfolio solutions, including rules-based alpha-seeking equity, alternative and options strategies, as well as implementation services including tax-managed core equity, futures overlay and centralized portfolio management.
