Emerging Market ETFs Performance Perks Up


Emerging markets ETFs have had a rough June, and a rough year, yet. But now that investor concerns about interest rates are dissipating, emerging markets ETFs have been doing better in recent weeks, Fox Business writes.

The story quotes analyst Alec Young, who gives some promising numbers, saying the developing world is seen growing 5.7 percent next year up from 5 percent in 2013, as the BRIC countries, excluding China, and South Africa, Mexico Korea and Turkey, are expected to go through a period of expansion.

Fox Business touts the Vanguard [profile] FTSE Emerging Markets ETF, BlackRock [profile] iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF and WisdomTree [profile] Emerging Markets Equity Income Fund as funds showing "signs of life."
