A Top Korn Ferry Executive Moves On

A top executive recruiter has found himself a top new gig.

Michael Castine, previously chairman of global asset and wealth management at Korn/Ferry, has joined the New York-based Ridgeway Partners as a partner.

Ridgeway specializes in executive search, board appointments and succession planning and has offices in New York, Boston and London.

Castine has broad experience in the industry, having served as chief executive at Sugarhill Investments and Dover Management, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of two mutual funds and a Bermuda-based alt fund.

He also saved as co-head of global sectors at TMP Worldwide, a partner at Highland Search Group, and co-head of global financial services at Spencer Stuart.

Castine also served stints in the public sector, including serving as director, International Communications and Information in the White House, National Security Council and as a White House deputy director for Private Sector Initiatives-- both during the Reagan Administration. He also served as an aide to Rep. Jack Kemp.
