Lammert to Leave Janus

Janus Mercury is losing the services of Warren Lammert. Denver-based Janus Capital said today that Lammert is leaving to pursue opportunities outside of the fund business. Janus named David Corkins, 36, to replace Lammert. Corkins will continue to manage the $5.2 billion Janus Growth and Income Fund.

Lammert, 41, will leave the firm on March 1. He plans to move to the East Coast and seek opportunities there. He is reportedly making the move for family reasons.
