Reuters reporter Jessica Toonkel got the tip from three sources who wished to remain anonymous. They said the sale may not even materialize since discussions are in the "very early stages." Toonkel reports that the majority of the company is owned by the family of John Arnhold, the company's current chairman and chief investment officer.
