Restauranteur Will Now Serve Up Loss-Averse Funds

Mutual fund sales people can have all sorts of amazing and intriguing backgrounds, including restauranteur.

For example, the loss averse equity shop PVG Asset Management Corp. recently hired Thomas McInerney to serve as a regional director.

Make no bones about it, McInerney has over 15-years experience wholesaling funds, having worked as a regional managing director at Black Diamond Funds; director of mutual fund sales for New York Life Insurance; a regional vice president for JPMorgan Chase, (for Chase Vista Funds), as well as a regional vice president for Oppenheimer Capital (Quest for Value). He also served as a regional vice president for Colonial Funds, and an area marketing representative for American Funds

However, it is also interesting to note that before joining PVG, McInerney was president and owner of NSJM, Inc., an enterprise which included two restaurants: one located in Round Lake Beach, Illinois, and the other in Algonquin, Illinois.

Among the strategies managed by PVG is the Dunham Loss Averse Equity Income Fund.
